Networking for Success
Networking has come of age. Your ability to create and nurture a solid network of contacts in your community can help determine your success. If you don't have one - begin cultivating a list of those people that yield the most influence. Which of your patients shape the opinions of other patients and potential clients?
How about a list of related fields like:
- Fitness and beauty
- Or fellow members of the makeover community
- Wedding coordinators, photographers & videographers
- Publishers and editors of local newspapers and magazines
- Cable T.V. producers, broadcast personalities in radio & T.V.
- Actors, models & sales people
- Businesses that share common customer bases-
- and on and on.
Real networking is "working" to cultivate mutually beneficial, give and take, win/win relationships. Work to find the right network of people. When done correctly, with real genuine care for the success of others in your network, it results in an enormous increase in referrals.
Everyone in the practice should be trading business cards with key people that can help you facilitate your marketing plan. That is assuming they all have business cards-and they should. They are, by far, your least expensive form of advertising.
